Will Writing

Will Writing

A WILL is probably the most important document you will ever write.  It is the only way to ensure that upon your decease, your assets of a lifetime’s labours are passed on to the beneficiaries you choose and not distributed according to the Intestacy laws.

IT IS particularly important to have a valid and up-to-date Will in place if you are married/divorced/bereaved, or have a family/property/business, or children from a previous relationship.

IF YOU WISH, we can arrange for your Will to be securely stored until such time as it is required, with a Certified Copy for reference purposes.

Business Wills

IF YOU have financial interests in a business or partnership, ask yourself what would happen in the event of your death.   A typical family Will could well bequeath your part of the enterprise to your wife or children.  Is this what they, or your colleagues, would want?

IF NOT, it is essential to make Cross-Option Agreements, which give surviving colleagues the option to purchase your share of the interest, and for them to do the same for you.

EXPERT ADVICE, and consultation with your advisers, is required.
